Sushi Zushi is a sushi restaurant founded in 2001 by Alfonso Tsuyoshi Tomita. Austin has countless Sushi options to choose from and Sushi Zushi in Austin has got to be on your list. Known for their Japanese cuisine with Latin American influences, their two Austin locations are favorites for their expansive menu of quality options and something for everyone.
Sushi Zushi Austin provides an open and intimate dining experience. The room is dimly lit which provides a more intimate feel at night and during the day the sunlight pours into the room to give it more of an open feel. The ambiance that you want is going to depend on the time of day you go. The tables are also set up so you feel very open and seen and yet close and comfortable to your party.
The menu is varied, everything from yellowtail rolls to Japanese comfort foods. There is something for everyone. They have 18 signature sushi rolls that include rolls such as their Bora Bora and Cosimo roll. They also have 4 crab rolls, 3 eel rolls, and many more.
They also have traditional bowls, Japanese comfort foods, noodles and rice, and traditional rolls for a more beginner sushi eater. They have a pretty wide menu for people who are more experienced sushi lovers and for sushi beginners.
Their lunch menu includes their signature rolls, tuna, salmon, and yellowtail rolls, crab rolls, eel rolls, spicy rolls, shrimp and crawfish rolls, traditional rolls, traditional bowls, Japanese comfort foods, noodles, rice, temaki-sushi, bento boxes, and nigiri and sashimi. They also serve appetizers and samplers.
Their most popular lunch menu item is the LIR roll. The LIR roll is a spicy tuna roll with avocado and green onions. It is rolled uramaki style, wrapped in salmon, and topped off with their LIR sauce.
Their dinner menu is the same as their lunch menu. The most popular dish for dinner is their Cosimo roll. Sushi Zushi’s Cosimo roll is a fried shrimp roll with cream cheese. It comes wrapped in avocado and is then tempura fried. It is rolled uramaki style. It is also topped with Tampa Bay Sauce and furikake and is then drizzled with eel sauce.

Sushi Zushi is a great option if you are looking for some sushi. It has many options to choose from and has great variety. I am not very adventurous when it comes to my sushi order, and the menu still has a lot for me to choose from.
There is also a lot to choose from if you are a more experienced sushi eater. Overall, the environment of the restaurant is calm and cozy while still having that big restaurant feel. If you are looking for some good sushi and a nice and chill time, I suggest considering Sushi Zushi!
